08/03/2021 - Re-opening of the Parish Hall

The Parish Hall will be re-opening Community Groups and specified activities from Monday 17th May 2021. See April edition of the Kingston News for details.

This proposal to re-open the Parish Hall is in line with government guidance and could change at any time based upon further government reviews and decisions at every stage of progress to relax the COVID-19 lockdown.

 

The Trustees have agreed to re-open the Parish Hall from Monday 17th May to local Community Groups for the purposes of:

 Indoor sports activities, including exercise classes, table tennis, yoga and pilates;

 All indoor children's activities, including dance classes, musical activities, cubs, scouts, brownies, and parent and child groups with up to 15 attending plus any under-fives;

 Community groups, not exceeding 30 persons, such as WI meetings, Committee meetings, Council meetings etc.

ALL bookings will be subject to the following conditions:

 The leader/organiser is wholly responsible for ensuring compliance with social distancing throughout their event, including determination of the number of persons that can be safely accommodated. In any case; not to exceed 30 persons.

 The leader/organiser shall be responsible for ensuring safe entry and exit to and from their event, including the introduction of 'one-way' systems etc. where necessary.

 The leader/organiser shall ensure that all surfaces, furniture and fittings used or to be used are cleaned prior to use and at the end of hire. Additional time, where necessary, shall be included in the booking request.

 The leader/organiser shall ensure they have read and comply with the Kingston Parish Hall Terms and Conditions, including those directly associated with COVID-19.

 The leader/organiser shall maintain a written list of contact details for all attendees and shall make this list available to any such authorities on request, including Trustees of the Parish Hall, requiring such evidence.

PLEASE NOTE:

 Hire of the Hall - priority will be given to community groups that have had past regular bookings.

 All booking requests to hire the Hall must be made on-line at www.kingstonparishhall.org.uk where access to other information, including Terms and Conditions etc. can be found.
